The Mayor of Prescott has created a Vision 2050 committee.  The five person steering committee chaired by William E. Arnold, Ph.D.  There are over 130 citizens who are ready to begin looking at our future.


Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott College, and Yavapai College have agreed to co-sponsor a speaker series for the Visioning Process with the City of Prescott.  This presentation is the first of eight that are planned, entitled, Looking Forward.

The Vision project is expected to take 9 months to complete.  It is citizen driven as the recommendations of the study groups will be presented periodically to the steering committee.  The final report will be given to the Mayor in December.  We anticipate large gathering in January where every interested resident of Prescott can help select the most important issues.
