The online citizen survey has been reopened so you can submit your responses.

The Morrison Institute at Arizona State University published two reports that are related to our Prescott Vision 2050.

The first report is on the Megapolitan region and is available for your use.

I’d like to see some kind of public transportation in Prescott. We need a viable alternative to just driving everywhere. Also, more and wider bike lanes and more bike racks should be available. With the price of gas and global warming we should be forward thinking in our promotion of eco-friendly and healthy alternative modes of transportation.

With this in mind, let’s put in more sidewalks. There are areas with no sidewalks at all and no bike lanes leaving no safe alternatives but to drive. This is not conducive to good neighborhoods.

Another important issue I’d like to see addressed the lack of sewer in some areas of Prescott. I think it’s ludicrous to have high density areas without sewer. This is a waste of water that we could be recycling and also a potential for water contamination. Water in general is a very pressing problem for all of Arizona and one that we should not ignore.

Please don’t shy away from making the hard decisions that will help us meet our future needs.
